New Year's Resolutions

and why you should write yours

👋 Hi all,

I’m back for the new year and wish you a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2024. I took some time off in December and paused my newsletters (I wrote some but haven’t sent them yet) to focus on some quality time offline.

I’m still super bullish on this newsletter and will launch a premium version somewhere in the upcoming weeks based on all your feedback via the poll 🗳️.

Almost 1000 🤷‍♂️ of you are reading this newsletter right now; I am happy to have you with me, ready to 10x and hit my goal of 10k after the summer.

Enjoy today’s edition about why you should make New Year's resolutions. I stumbled upon two lovely bookmarks 🧡.

See you soon,

Bas

Issue #27

There is something magical about ‘new’ beginnings. It’s almost as great as sticking your knife in a just-opened new peanut butter jar. The beginning of a new year is practically the same. It gives you a chance to shake things up, start over, or continue with a habit streak you started.

The days between Christmas and New Year's Day are probably when people discuss and think about significant life changes—moving to a new house, splitting up with my partner (sorry, but it often happens during these weeks), and changing your career path into something more joyful.

While I’m not a big advocate of New Year’s resolutions, I believe in a certain momentum.
