🔎 How to recruit talent

I have never had a resume, but I have seen thousands over the past ten years. Having the proper papers is mandatory for some jobs (doctors, lawyers, or architects). For the employment and business you and I are interested in, not so much.

On a global level, the current job market has gone wild. It’s so tight that talents can cherrypick and do multiple interviews simultaneously and still drop out before inking a final offer. I feel that recruiting talent has become more challenging and time-consuming, and the old way is no longer cutting it.

Until recently, most employers offered perks and extras besides a decent salary. They would open vacancies and post them on job boards or LinkedIn. An (in-house) recruiter would filter all the applications, and the interview rounds would begin. Most of the time, it was the employer with all the power. Now, the job seekers are in control.
